Dr Abasse Tougiani is a Director of Research in Forest Biology and a member of INRAN's Scientific Council. Dr Abasse Tougiani is the country coordinator for the BBEST project in Niger. His experience ranges from the practice of RNA, prospecting and collecting forest seeds or seeds from agroforestry parks, to techniques for formulating and using cattle feed and urea-based multi-nutritional blocks. He also has experience in techniques for setting up nurseries and producing plants, and in situ grafting techniques for agroforestry species.
Dr Abasse is also a member of the Scientific and Pedagogical Council of the Ecole doctorale de la Science de la vie et de la terre. active participant in the Global Alliance on Regreening, advocacy and lobbying for funding for soil restoration.
